HAFEEZ LAW ASSOCIATES (SMC-PVT) LIMITED (“HLA”) is an incorporated law company registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, providing litigation and consultancy services across Pakistan from the court of first instance to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Founded by Dr. Malik Muhammad Hafeez, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan — who holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Corporate Law & Governance from the prestigious University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom — HLA is also a successor firm to Nawaz Law Associates of the former Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice (R) Mian Allah Nawaz.
HLA has been a pioneer of corporate consultancy and corporate litigation in South Punjab, conducting credible and substantial litigation across the Company Benches of the Lahore High Court. The firm also specialises in Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Real Estate Laws, Criminal Litigation and Trial, Tax Consultancy, and Finance & Banking Laws.
The founder, Dr. Malik M. Hafeez, is a foreign-qualified PhD scholar in law with extensive academic and practical court experience. An Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan with various reported judgments to his credit, he authored a book on Institutional Investment and Corporate Governance (Universal Publishers, UK), in addition to numerous published articles.
HLA is equipped with a qualified team of lawyers admitted to practise from the civil courts to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, with expertise in Corporate, Civil, Criminal, Service, Constitutional and Administrative Law. Its dedicated Corporate Consultancy unit is staffed with experts and lawyers, and the firm maintains the latest research portals and resources to meet evolving requirements.
